Out of sheer boredom, I've decided to start creating block constructed decks, I've always liked the idea. I plan on at least making one for each new set coming out, like M15 when it rolls in and the far off Khans of Tarkir. For this deck in particular, you're basically making an impenetrable wall of walls until vent sentinel hits the board and wipes them clean in a few turns, with the aid of a few other cards.
Turn one: cinder wall or pride guardian. Great way to start your defense.Turn two: okay either a flamewright or more walls. Flamewright really gets the deck going, and is better to get out early, as she can activate morbid triggers and well, make more defenders.Turn three: guardian zendikon, vow of duty(this can be used to save creatures from damage in the future or to pacify your opponent's creatures, because if you haven't noticed you don't attack much, so it's all okay), or brimstone volley if it's necessary. You can also cast smaller spells for combat tricks instead to leave mana open to activate flamewright's abilities.Turn four: bring out the vent sentinel. If you've been keeping up, you should at least be at about three other creatures with defender. Turn five: crank out two defenders at the most and start pinging for 5-7 damage a turn. Once you start assaulting them, you can basically drop everything down on their head, using up your brimstone volleys and tapping out your utility creatures to destroy their creatures or to hit the opponent directly.
