A bit experimental, but think it is gonna be loads of fun to play and hopfully win me some battles =)

Would be good in a group game when you have time to actually get Engine out and rolling and you aren't having to worry about being focused on like in a 1v1.

Also i'm not sure if it works ( i dont' think it does) but Echo Mage + Tide won't double prolif. b/c you aren't actually casting but 1 spell...the mage is copying the 2nd version of the spell so you aren't casting it to trigger Tide.

Yeah, it will be better in a multiplayer match, it is a slow roller. But if I start with a everflowing chalice, it won't take that long before i get 6 mana. The point of having Chimaric Mass is for defence and I think it will work, but I got to few controllspells.... But it is so hard taking cards out of the deck :P Help would be awsome =)

The Echomage + Tide combo was offcoure in the thought of those stacking, but you might have a point that it won't work.. I am kind of new in magic, so I am not able to see all the deatails. If somone could clairify if that won't work I would be greatfull... If it don't work i might have to rethink a little :/

yeah i'm about 99.9% sure it won't work. I also think Tide costs too much for infect. It would be nice in a deck that has some mana ramp up to get out faster but overall i'm not a fan of proliferate. It's OK in a group game when you have time to build up. But in Tourny's it's just not up to snuff at the monment.

Nice idea :)
I tried a similar to your strategy (many +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters with proliferate), don't know if it works.

Have you thougt of the Contagion Clasp? Its cheaper than the engine, but deals less -1/-1 counters and only proliferates once, but with untapping you could acivate it 2-3 turns earlier. Maybe you get your Lighthouse Chronologist faster to Level 7 with it.

Yeah, I like your idea of proliferate too, though I would rather not play Inexorable Tide. I may put Throne of Geth in it, but I tested my deck and it worked. Thanks for the inspiration, maybe I'll change something later on!:)
