You could also put in teramorphic expanses if you wanted more easy land fall. That or Jund Panorama. Also, you might consider cutting the size of the deck closer to 60. If you could also comment on my decks, I would appriciate it.
His deck does have 60 cards. He has a 16-count sideboard.
Remember that for Vengevine to come back you have to "cast" the creature so things like the eldrazi spawn tokens and Bloodghast will not trigger it.
