The combo: Make sure your opening hand has a gemstone caverns, one of either of the spirit guides, a flash, and a protean hulk.How it works. Gemstone caverns begins in play with a luck counter on it since it isn't your turn. On your opponents first upkeep, BEFORE THEY EVEN DRAW, tap and remove the luck counter to add a blue to your mana pool and remove a spirit guide from your hand to add another mana. Now cast flash and put in protean hulk which immediately sacks away. Now that you get to go look for some creatures its time to win. You first hit up the 4 disciple of the vaults, and then get the 4 shifting walls, and the 4 Phyrexian Marauders. Your 8 artifact creatures now die and target opponent loses 8x4 life. Which means they take 32 life and die before they get a chance to draw.On the play? Play an island to replace the gemstone cavern and do the combo anyways.DISCLAIMER: This deck is banned in literally all formats including vintage.
