Is it possible to get you to consider utilizing Manaforge Cinder for Mana Filtering to ensure Mana Consistency/Flexibilty?I personally use them with Dark Ritual, they pretty much make it so that Dark Ritual is virtually 3 Red Mana as well. Opens up a whole new world of options into Red that typically get overlooked.Ideally, I could play Swamp Turn 1, Dark Ritual, 3 Black Mana to pool.Pay 1, cast Manaforge Cinder, pay to activate it's ability, Convert remaining 2 Black Mana into 2 Red Mana, cast 2 Akroan Crusaders.Cast Crowd's Favor x2 via Convoke on the Akroan Crusaders, get 2 1/1 Red Soldiers with Haste on the Battlefield. Attack with 2 1/1.You now have 4 creatures on the field, turn one, and have already done 2 damage.
No problema :)
How About Side-Boarding Revoke Existence?Granted it's sorcery, however it can get rid of artifacts as well, making it a little more versatile than Deicide.I use it in a few of my decks to get rid of my friend's God Cards, or Indestructible or punishing artifact creatures, like Colossus of Akros or Scuttling Doom Engine.
Nice suggestion.I'll keep Redcap sideboard though, since I like the persist effect for blocking and the extra burn from that ability. It's CMC is higher though, which makes it a later play.
I don't seem to see a comment about it, but I might be mistaken. Wouldn't it be a good idea to try to include a couple Generator Servants to help get out Burning anger a little faster?
0____0That price tag....scary....
They have it sideboarded, so it is considered as an option.
You should sideboard Revoke Existence to switch out with Naturalize. Granted Naturalize is Instant and Revoke is Sorcery, Revoke Existence can get rid of pesky indescructible God Cards or other indestructible like Darksteel Citadel w/ Ensoul Artifact or cards that punish destruction like Scuttling Doom Engine.
Yeah, made this before they existed, I'll put them in.
http://www.mtgvault.com/aiquoy/decks/selesnya-sliver-mpsynergy/This is the pairing
It was made to be a combination deck for 2-Headed Giant. I was designing a deck that utilizes control to go with a deck I was going to make for a friend that utilizes ramp and mana. Since almost all the Slivers have "all slivers", he would get effects of these slivers, I would get the effects of his.The other Sliver deck to go with it is Green/White, so it gets pretty beefy. Two decks working as one. He would be able to tap his creatures and mill, tap, pay to destroy, etc, I would get the +/+ effects, trample, tap slivers for mana, etc.I might reduce the numbers to make it well-rounded.
Just because.
