I love elves. I also am fascinated by the persist mechanic, and saw it as a way to have both a lightening quick attack deck that also has some staying power if the game goes a little long. I\'d love some comments, but please keep them respectful.

It is a little schizophrenic with so many single copies. If it's working in your area, it's hard to suggest more, especially without knowing card availability. I would try to focus a bit more. Kulrath Knight would be a good addition. Fallen Ideal could allow the Woodfall Primus to nuke an opponent's side with the help of Heartmender. It's only 1 card a turn, but it can save a stalled game. Quillspike and Devoted Druid are hard not to recommend to any current black/green deck.
To Govtgeek--Ha! Yes, it is a bit schizophrenic! While decks with copies of 4 tend to have very tight play styles, I try to be a bit more of a moving target in how I win, with the deck-strategy a little harder to pin down. (in this case, persist/wither/swarm). I pay more attention to character type (elves) and abilities (persist-wither) while keeping spell cost low, while reaping the benefits of character type AND a variety of abilites that come with playing more single copies.
But you're right, perhaps my play group (and myself!) have a lot to learn. Kulkrath Knight is a brilliant idea. I'd considered quillspike a lot, but found that I actually lay down more punishment with my Safehold Elite. Do you have another substitution you would suggest?
Sorry, I've been busy recently. I have to say I haven't solitaire'd the deck, so I can't get a real feel for typical draw capabilities and nothing really jumps out. If you like lots of variation in win conditions, definitely look into Whetwheel. You have creatures and direct damage (in essence), but if you ever stall, then Whetwheel gives you an alternative. It is definitely a sideboard card for this deck though.
Im always up for decks with multifarious win conditions so keep it up :)
