Deck Description

Started out as a Challenge to do a Lockdown deck, without the use of Artifacts, Blue, or White. Then i decided to make it a creatureless deck.

If you want to take this down to Budget level, Replace the Multimana Lands with 13x Mountain and 7x Swamp and Bonfire Of The Damed with Lava Axe..... takes it from around $210, down to $20. (Checked on 8/25/12...So of course its subject to change)

Deck discussion for Scorched King - A Creatureless Deck

Try to replace Diabolic Tutors with Demonic Tutors. They are cheaper.

how are you going to plan against abilities or effects like Platinum Emperion ya you got blasphemous act but what if its an enchantment or artifact that gives the opponent hexproof?
you could try smelt its 1red to destroy an artifact
im not sure though for enchantments
Terminate is good and cheap 2 if theres only 1 creature only the feild attacking you..but ultimately blasphemous act which you got down

got spare time?
why not check out my W/R creatureless deck for ideas
I would highly appropriate it (8

Well specifically for Platinum Emperion, Id just hit him with a Burn, and the doubling of damage would kill him just like any other creature. If he has Shroud, then i guess i'd be pretty screwed. But only once. Every deck has its Weakness...I didnt put Worlds of thought into this one but i can fix it with a sideboard.

Stuff like Leyline of Sanctity would be Bad.....Asceticism wouldn't matter to much because Circle Of Flame gets around it, because it doesnt "target" a creature, Just like Pyroclasm and Darkness. Bonfire Of The Damned couldnt get through Hexproof on a Creature, But its ok, because it hits the player even if it doesnt do anything to the creature. Circle Of Flame and Hissing Miasma don't care about Hexproof at all.

I dont think i would have too much of a problem with Hexproof Overall, Or Anything else that grants it or protects the Player...But JUST to be safe, Ill go ahead and Sideboard Terminate and Creeping Mold. And to be even safer, Ill also Sideboard Leyline Of Sanctity

To make me not have to add different lands when exchanging a sideboard card, I used the Shardlands from Shards Of Alara.....
