The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Urinduil Said: In a usual deck, most people use about 20 lands, I have been trying to think of a way to have at most 10 lands in your deck and still token gen like crazy and run the game. This desk doesnt seem like it would work very well, But it WOULD work. I see many mulligans in your future. Strategy: 1. Zero Cost creatures can just drop out of your hand as soon as you get them, So that makes 7 cards you will not have to pay for, leaving 33 that you do. 10 cards out of 33 vs 20 cards out of 50. You do the math. (no really, you do it...I refuse to) 2. Bring out as many creatures that you can that tap for mana, And Orochi Leafcaller to exchange Green to any other color in a great 1:1 Ratio. 4. With those, Cast a Tutor of some kind, If you are doing ok by then on Mana, Pull out Krenko. If not, Pull out more Mana creatures and/or Overgrowth. Followed Footsteps on Birds Of Paradise is a good idea, even better if you can get out Doubling Season and Parallel Lives. 5. Play Krenko, and any of the Token Doublers you have. 6. Tap Krenko like a mad bitch, every turn you can. 7. To make those tokens MONSTERS, Play a Coat Of Arms. To make this a Regular Deck, Just take out the 0 Cost Creatures and Demonic Tutors, and Add in 6 more Forests, and 4 Islands (Or of course Dual Lands)

With this challenge i was hoping to see people go the myr route or the mox route for the mana ramp, maybe even the borderposts for mana, and then any token generation , but this is cool. As you said mana can be an issue, but for this deck I would suggest adding fertile ground and/or abundant growth to ensure that you don't run into mana issues

My First thoughts were Myr, Then i thought of Pentavus + Mana Echoes. I played with the idea of Mycosynth Lattice + Cranial Plating + Viridian Joiner + Voltaic Construct....but that would be too unlikely to get out. I generally stay away from Mox and Lotus cards....Just because i feel they are beyond most people, So i don't even think of them anymore. Also, I've already done way to many Myr combos and wanted to try something new. The Borderposts were a good idea, one that i hadn't thought of. I also was tempted to use the Shardlands from Shards Of Alara, because they are triple lands...but that would be sacrificing a lot of speed because they all come into play tapped.
I built a real deck with 8 lands and it's not green ;P http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=379904 Also it turn ones occasionally and is fairly budget
if you do add abundant growth take out 2 of the leafcaller since arbor elf can untap a enchanted forest to use it again for different colored mana and its also a free draw
