primary win condition: kiln fiend/wee dragonaut + distortion strike + assault strobe secondary win condition: get pinged to death :)) the only problem is can the deck stall enough turns until i draw the cards? all comments and suggestions are welcome. :D August 9, 2011: I have made changes to the deck as per nicanorrr's advice. He noted that the deck was too defensive, and thus was not fully realizing the Kiln Fiend and the Wee Dragonauts' potential. And so, I have made changes :D October 22, 2011: Made changes again. This time, it's more aggtrol. =D Updated Jan. 1, 2012 Now in Modern/Peasant format =)

Very low creature count. Option = use counter spells to control the opponent and removals to wipe out the board? @Dissipation Field = no need to cast assault strobe as a sorcery. XD and also flame slash.

i shall make a revision. :D
edited: Dec. 22, 2010. opted for more wall of frost rather than kraken hatchling. @cadrion: maybe you are referring to leyline of anticipation? :D
btw, sideboard is indefinite, i just cannot choose from these cards that i already have. :D
Maybe you'll like my take on this, It has always run well for me, I haven't gotten to play test out the assault strobe distortion stike combo yet though. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126174
i've been thinking about chandra's spitfire or cunning sparkmage, but i can't seem to find space for it in mine :(
if you drop the wall and ogre tyrant they fit, it just depends how much defense versus offense you want.
hmm...i was thinking, maybe i could replace wall of frost with aether membrane?
Okay, i do not know if it was due to a bad draw or not, but i have found the weakness of this deck to be creature-based decks that prevent me from targeting their monsters. (canopy cover, asceticism) any suggestions?
Interesting take on the Kiln Fiend design. This one has a defensive side to it, which is strange but seems to work for you. I would suggest seeing if you can include Into the Roil in here. It provides card drawing when you need it, beefing for the Kiln Fiend, and bouncing for getting your attacks through.
actually, my problem is staying alive until i get the combo. :) what to replace for into the roil? and i was actually thinking of Curiosity from 8th ed?
and thank you so much for taking time to check my deck idea :D
