Thats true something like Shrieking Affliction and/or Skullcage could also do some good work here since you will be empty you'r opponent's hand quick. And they will be a bit more budget friendly.
Yeah, cards like Shrieking Affliction, The Rack, and Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage are pretty good in discard decks.
The rack and shrieking affliction could go in, but i think quest for the nihil stone is a better fit. Davriel dies to easily since the deck has few creatures
