This deck was drafted at the local comic book shop this past Friday. I shot to draft mono-blue again, but wound up splashing white for some great cards that supported my theme. The tournament went four rounds.Match #1: RWG + a fourth unknown color that I never got to see (Combo Driven)Game #1: Win by concede (15/7)Game #2: Win by concede (20/20)Match #2: G/B AggroGame #1: Win by hit points (17/0)Game #2: Loss by hit points (9/20)Game #3: Win by hit points (13/1)Match #3: B/U Creature HeavyGame #1: Win by hit points (13/0)Game #2: Win by hit points (12/0)Match #4: R/W AggroGame #1: Loss by hit points (0/21)Game #2: Win by hit points (10/0)Game #3: DrawMatch #1 was won entirely due to my opponent getting screwed on mana. It was not an honorable win, but I gladly accepted it.Match #2 would have been a shut out if I had mulliganed at the start of game #2. I poorly decided to run with a hand of high drop cards and it went horribly. I anticipated pulling lower drops or lands, but I drowned quickly in more high drops.Match #3 was slow and grueling. I locked down the board and took my time attacking (only when there were no blockers). I felt bad for this win because I've been on the other side of the table against a deck like mine and it was super annoying. Match #4 was a mutual draw (after game #2).
Take the damage from the small attackers.Move out blockers for the small attackers.Wait to use the counter and control spells.Lock down the big stuff when it comes out.Attack with the spirits.
