Deck discussion for help! pauper metalcraft U/R

Depends on the league.

That's a fairly strong concept you've got going in any case. I think what you need is perhaps, maybe, more artifacts... In either the creature slots or just boosting the count on some already listed. Don't forget that off color spellbombs are card draw, if you can't find access to the on color.

Welding Jar would be good to keep your artifacts alive, at least through efficient block trades or spot removal. Sanctum Gargoyle brings what hit the graveyard back, but it's white. Though that would give you the opportunity to splash in more artifact lands or mana fixer artifacts like Chromatic Sphere/Star.

Do you think adding another color will cripple me? What do you think would be the best way to color fix. I was looking to splash green for carapace forager for a 4/4 for 2cmc, but I'm open to other colors if it flows well.

Those were just suggestions to help lean out the deck. For a metalcraft deck you seem to rely on a lot of non artifact creatures and very few artifacts themselves.

There are 24 artifact sources. 8 artifact lands. 7 artifact creatures. 4 ghirapur gear crafter (they spit out a 1/1 artifact).
And a modest tool package for tinker mage, who can also tutor out that lands. I honestly have no idea if I need more than that to keep metalcraft active, but banking on the artifact lands to do most of the heavy lifting.

Myr servitor also pulls copies out of the gravyad and back onto the battlefield for some recursion.

I would probably take a look at the Kuldotha Jeskai decks for other ideas on card choices myself, I personally play a Jund Artifacts deck, so the only thing I could recommend would be Kuldotha's Rebirth, go up to 4x Lightning Bolt, and possibly even add in some Firebolt, perhaps making leaning into a U/R Artifact Burn deck? And if you keep with Trinket Mage, I would recommend a 1x Bonesplinter, and a 1x Sylvok Lifestaff along with the Spellbombs for options.

Thanks for the suggestions! I added the bonesplitter and lifestaff. I'm worried that kuldotha rebirth will breakdown synergy because I want to keep metalcraft online until I try to end the game with ferrovore. Any thoughts?

If you do add Rebirth, you would add cards like Ichor Wellspring and/or Perilous Myr, artifacts that generate value from them being sacrificed. I also agree with Rabid above, you have a lot of non-artifact spells, and at that some pretty lackluster ones. The only non-artifact spells in this color combination I would want are Mulldrifters, Atog perhaps paired with Fling, various burn spells, the Trinket Mages. Then the rest I would jam with Artifacts, stuff like you have now, but with stuff like the Wellspring if you want to add Rebirths, etc.

I see what you are saying. I'm just not sure if I want to change the whole concept of the deck. Later today I'll write down the thinking on each card in the how to play section. But after some more thought, under the current build kuldotha rebirth may have a spot in the sideboard for aggro or burn deck help. So thanks again!
