Besides if they do that, you still have 4 planeswalkers left, you could do quite a bit of damage while you rebuild.

Quicken + Planar Cleansing. Not the most ideal, mana wise, but it's instant speed boardwipe and in colors done by most top tier decks nowadays.

american control is Red blue white. its actually pretty popular

ahelmer: ok, I figured it out. my brother did quicken and divine verdict, but I had enough mana with all the extra coming in from my deck and xenagos that I regenerated 8 or 9 guys, so maybe two boardwipes.. but who can survive that anyway? Without indestructible I guess.

You guys think that khalni hydra was a worthy substitute for sol ring?

Imposing Sovereign, Leyline of Anticipation, Magus of the Moat, etc. More stall than anything, but they'd pose a bit of a problem.

You guys need to check out hawkblade100's decks. They're great, but he doesn't get enough credit for them!

the only thing i can think of that could stop this deck in its tracks would be gideon champions ultimate

I have all of the cards except only one birds of paradise and 3 rootbound crags. I'm trying to get them, but this would be the ideal deck. What do you think of it? I buy a lot of cards. The Estimated value is way off.

idk i havnt looked at the whole thing i just saw all the planeswalker that are expensive as hell

nah, domri cost me 20-25 dollars each, sarkhan is around 10, Garruk can be upwards of 30, and xenagos is only like 10. But I traded for most of these.

It's not legal in Standard, Extended, or Modern. It is legal in Legacy + Vintage, though.

Yeah, it's such and awesome card that I shouldn't care, but I might take it out so that it's more legalized.

so sad sol ring is restricted in EVERY format. one sol ring removed and you have a great deck...it will be legal!

to see if your deck is legal, just look in the column to the right, just below the mana colors icons, and you will see in what kind of format your deck is legal.

thanks, I usually don't worry about legality, because I just play with friends and they don't care, but do you think that I could reform this to make it tournament worthy?

ok, I took out the sol rings and put in signets, but it still wasn't legal in any format... Anybody know why?

from what i see, you are legal in vintage and legacy right now, but you can still use one sol ring, if you have it, use it!

Yeah, gruul Charm would be good, but the point of the deck is to have minimal non-permanents, so I thought that homeward would be good, but I think that I'll take one out. Are you thinking more punishment? or some vitality? And I'll take a look at buying that too. Thanks :-)

Yeah, but I was thinking that I might use garruk as more of just a creature than his power, although his power is useful...

Thunder maw is fun and spearbraker is good and emrakul and all the eldrazis dominate
And lightning grieves are ok too. I think those would be good cards

with all the ramp i would go with ulamog or kozilek (never liked emrakul) but pfft its not like you really have to be too picky :)

I don't really need to, although it isn't hard, I have elixir of immortality in there that I'll get from primal surge that can send any cards from my graveyard back into my deck. I've only encountered that problem once while playing this deck. But thanks. :)

Yeah, I'll check out your decks. and I can try a craterhoof behemoth, they only cost around 12 dollars. But ruric can be bad with some of the things in this deck. I tried him, but he made it slower and less usable for me. Because he only really works with creatures and not any permanents. :( but thanks. :)

I have a terastodon, but don't like it clogging my hand, sylvan primordial might be good, I'll try it, and I realize how little I need to worry about cost when I have primal surge, but larger cards really do get in the way earlier on. Unless I go with quicksilver amulet...
