This is a beta build of a deck I've been working on involving Kin-Tree Invocation, a bunch of high-toughness creatures, and Scourge of Skola Vale. Most of the cards here play a role in support, such as Ivorytusk Fortress (allowing me to attack recklessly and still be able to block if needed), Fleecemane Lions to give me a decent shield to set up behind, and Avacyn to provide quick protection on the fly or Liliana to turn and start playing the recycle game. The issues: Upon playtesting this game, it plays solidly, and is surprisingly consistent with the strategy. However, the land base isn't as balanced as I'd like, and the deck seems to fall fast to flyers (despite having Souls, Windstorm, and Bow) and aggro/weenie dudes. I posted this build in the hopes that I could get some suggestions as to how to improve the quality and production of the deck.Note: For those that may suggest them, I've already tried Siege Rhino and Hardened Scales before, and both seemed to take up more space than contribute to the strategy. I've had a few locally suggest those and I tried them. Also, I'd like to improve this on a budget of at least $100 or less if possible.
Basically, the strategy is to build a bunch of huge walls to hide behind, such as a pumped Fleecemane or Ivorytusk or even a pumped Sylvan. KTI also gives a token for BG equal to your greatest toughness, practically cloning your biggest defender(s). Eventually, you'll gradually eat these walls with Scourge of Skola Vale, pumping him up to insane heights (I've even KTI'd a pumped Scourge and ate the token to double him) and attempt to score a OHKO on the opponent. Cards like Feat of Resistance and board sweeps like Death Frenzy/End Hostilies help with clearing the path as well.
