I agree about the charms but I've seem 3-4 of them in every list while I was researching the deck. I am considering Thought Scour and Serum Visions as replacements.

Wow, thanks. I'm really new to deck building (especially in modern) since I'm more of a casual player. I've looked at a primer on esper control (hense Esper Charm, Supreme Verdict, and the mana base) and thought about trying it with Summonings like Seth did with Jeskai. The primer highly recommended 4 Esper Charms for card draw and discard. I appreciate all the pointers and I'll try'em out. I'm glad I didn't buy this version of the deck yet. Mine has 4 Serum Visions in it. Is that something I should have? Thanks.
Here's # 100! I just thought if one has the money, this deck would be nuts with the new Chandra. I'm sure one could stall the extra 3 turns to get the emblem. I'd probably take out the Infiltrators, but I wonder if the deck even needs the Torch of Defiance.
Oh... I see. Cool.
I don't know what you're referencing, but I like it. Thanks for the comment!
It does win, though. Like I said, Mono-white humans have been popular where I go so I prefer Languish so they don't get to recast their stuff.
Thanks. I have considered those and will be testing with swapping 2 Part the Waterveil for 2 Engulf the Shore. I have black moslty for the sideboard and Languish in there as a "better" sweeper for the decks like Mono-white Humans I've see often at my store (plus I bought the 8 dual lands just for this deck). Same thing for Ruinous Path for the Superfriends decks. I did have Thing in the Ice, but I decided to take it out for more of a challenge and for more zombies for Rise from the Tides. Sometimes they're in, sometimes not. Although, not sure what to remove for them.
Oh, god. This in modern...
lol I decided to take out dispel. Thanks anyways.
Thanks, I was considering it at well. What do you think I should replace it with?
What do you think about this? I've added Magma Jet to take out the (hopefully) weak early game blockers for my newly added Ordeal of Purphoros to help deal massive damage. I also did take away some land. I opened my booster box and got 2 Anax and Cymede (1 foil), 3 Temple of Triumph, and the rest of the cards to make this deck, minus the Fabled Hero. That was pretty cool. With the pre-release, I now have 4 Anax and Cymede lol!
My Heroes of Akros deck for the new Theros set...http://www.mtgvault.com/acdcguy/decks/heroes-of-akros/Just so you know, I made it for casual.
Theros takes place on a plane based on Greek philosophy with creatures and Gods respectfully. You are the Hero destined to save it from monsters (or some such). Each set in the block will have three quests within adding up to nine total with a "boss" battle as the final set's challenge. Theros' first quest is "the Hero's Path" where you choose one of five mana colours to battle with. You will receive a Hero card (something like a Vanguard card) with it. The next quest will be at the Theros Launch weekend where you get to use your standard deck to receive a "Gift from the Gods" (quest #2 name) by solving a puzzle hidden within a Poster Puzzle. Once you've discovered the solution you can report it to receive a second Hero Card. The final quest for the Theros set is during Game Day, when you "Face the Hydra!" (quest #3 name). Here, you face off what seems to be an A.I. opponent that is a special self-running deck with its own set of rules. It seems it's ran by another player though, but they can only do certain computer -like things at appropriate times. There's a little more, such as Theros is a large set containing 249-ish cards with the next two being small (about 150). Theros will focus on Enchatments and will have a bunch of gold cards. There are two Planeswalkers, one old, one new. The green creature type "Centaur" has been replaced with a Greek mythological creature called the "Minotaur". This is as much as I can remember as of right now.I hope this is something close to what you were asking for...
Isn't Chandra expensive? I'd rather not pay a lot for a card that's only gonna get used in casual.
Just the "gimick" they're doing for the block. That's it.
You're welcome, dude.
I did a wolf one if you haven't seen it yet. I did it out of boredom so it may not be all that good. I was thinking of doing a vampire one next.
So? I don't care. If you like 'im so much, then you can put 'im in.
Thanks for the tips.
