I find that stab wound isnt a very good win condition. They will most certainly block with the wounded creature just to get it out of the way, so its a 3cmc "deal 2 damage, kil the creature next turn" basically, and thats optimistically, if they are killing it themselves. Id say just replace it with a kill spell (ultimate price perhaps, even murder). If you want the discard route, your going to need some more enablers, perhaps distress for targeted hand destruction, but I see shrieking affliction as a very weak rack, probably not the best win condition either. The pack rat on the other hand, I can get behind. Hes an ever growing army by himself and incredibly hard to get rid of (outside detention sphere/supreme verdict.). The cathedrals of war might not be the best option if hes the focus, since his strength is attacking with alot of him. Can probably sub out the cathedrals, couple swamps, and splash some red for slaughter games on side board and some burn to keep the board clear for your pack rat.

Thrumming stone. The end.
If the demigod of revenge is your main focus, I'd say you need some burdied alive's in there. it automatically drops 3 in the grave, makeing the one in your hand an instant win if they dont answer it. Hell, throw in some dash hopes to either A) protect your demigod from being countered himself, or B) Have them taking 5 damage wether he hits the board or not.
I would put in some inquisition of kozilek and durress instead of mind rot. While mind rot is a decent discard spel, the biggest weakness of discard decks is the first couple turns. You have to empty the hand fast, because once they have an empty hand, it means they already played what they wanted and your caress is useless. Scroll of grislbrand offers instant speed discard, and quest for the nihl stone sets up a fall back plan for when their hand is empty. Painful quandry is expensive mana eise, but if they are top decking (like they should if you played fast) then they are FORCED to take 5 if they play a spell. Also, distress is a nice, cheap fall back card. Aim to take out smaller cmc cards. Mind rot lets them say "well, I dont need this 9 mana leviathan first turn", but with kozelik, you choose what they discard, and stalling them for 4 turns with one card is incredibly efficient.
was hopeing to keep it extended for a bit (current play group runs that format). I have piledrivers and warchiefs waiting to go in! Some day ill have a kiki-jiki.
Actually its extended. I decided to put a mono-black vamp deck for all the nocturnus and nighthawks I just came into.
while expensive, goblin war chief and seigegang commander make a great pair for any goblin deck (as well as pile driver, but budget may not allow). I had a great time with furystoke giant, after having about 7 goblin tokens into play. Look into it for an alternate win condition. they never see it coming!
Drop some land fall stuff in here. Moonfolk have that racial ability to keep a cycle of lands comming into play. Your lands could really benefit if they have a reusable ETB effect. Also, gravitational shift would be somthing to consider, as it both builds your offense and sets up a decent defense.
Is this legacy? If so, hymn to tourach is pretty much a must. Its just about the best discard card in magic. Ravenous rats and Nyxathids are always a plus. I'd suggest more, but not sure what format. check out my legacy discard if thats what your running, some good cards out there if you look in the right places. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=303503
If this is a legacy deck get some good legacy cards! Ensnaring bridge will keep you safe since your only running one creature. Dark rituals are 100% flavorful and the speed is insane. Iv had games start where I can cast dark ritual turn 1, and drop three target cards from their hand. turn two, with the right set up, you can clear out the hand easily. Dark ritual also lets you get out things like Painful quandry (they have to take the damage if they have nothing to discard) and blood gift demon has an intersting utility option, even if its expensive: It lets you choose who draws and loses a life. Nihl stone not have enough counters? Have them draw and use the otherwise dead cards in your hand. Check out my legacy discard I've cooked up. It always turns heads when I use it. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=303503
The best part is that planar chaos puts everyone on the same level. The two win conditions (Chance encounter/ goblin bomb) are pretty vulnerable, so with a little luck, the chaos will keep them safe. Kraks thumb and mogg assassin keep the creatures in check (optimistically) and the archeologist keeps adding flips on a good run. Also, its hard actually finding "win flip" cards. The oracl on most flip cards dosnt actually have a win, some are just heads/tails.
