This deck is my crowning achievement. The epitome of my Magic career. It's gone through a dozen different iterations, all with their own pros and cons. This most recent version combines a moderate amount of mana ramp, with ridiculous potential for token generation. Throw in a dash of recycle and search, and you've got yourself a recipe for victory.Prior versions of this deck made up to 18 different types of tokens. But to better improve this deck's early and late game, I removed a few things in favor of mana ramp and graveyard recycle. Here is a list of the 14 different types of tokens this deck currently creates:X/X Black Minion0/0 Black Ooze0/1 Colorless Eldrazi Spawn [sacrifice for mana]1/1 Black Harpy [flying]1/1 Black Wolf [deathtouch]1/1 Black Assassin [combat damage = game loss]1/1 Green Saproling1/1 Green Snake2/2 Green Wolf2/2 Black Zombie3/3 Green Beast3/3 Colorless Wurm [deathtouch]3/3 Colorless Wurm [lifelink]5/5 Green Wurm [trample]
Despite being black and green, this deck has enough innate control built in to make it play like a blue and white deck. Make tokens, then use your enchantments and sac engines to clear the opponent's field, mill them, and systematically take away their options. Because this deck's creature removal depends not on destroying, but making players sacrifice, things like hexproof, shroud, and indestructibility mean nothing. Don't be afraid to sacrifice more than just your tokens if necessary. There are ways to bring back nearly everything from both your own graveyard, or your opponents'.Lastly, I tend to keep Jarad in the command zone until I'm ready to end the game. Wait until you have a stupidly big creature pumped up through various means, then bring him out and sac it. I only wish the loss of life incurred as a result was actually commander damage.

Recently got back into Magic (I played when Urza block was Standard)...and have to say, playing against token decks, your deck would be aggravating to play against! Good job!

Heh. I definitely consider that a compliment. My friends hate going against this monster too.
