I have a deck similar to this and used to run one almost the same except it was right when SoM came out. The problem I found is my creature is either bounced or killed before it ever reaches them at my local T2 tourneys, I still won a good bit with it but could never overcome the burn/control early unless I had vines of the vastwood in hand but Swiftfoot boots will give this deck some more survival.

Okay I'm assuming this is with cards you own. First off I'd throw in more removal, preferably "Go for the Throat", "Lightning Bolt", or "Terminate" depending on which ones you can get. Second I personally would lose most of the creatures and replace them with others (Hypnotic Specters or Stronghold Rats) . No Unhinged cards unless your group is extremely casual (Pygmy Giant) Make the Dragon Skull Summit 3 and drop the Necropolis. Oh and the red card Burning Inquiry is your best friend ever in this deck. (Triggers Nihl stone with a single cast, deal 6 damage with only 1 Liliana Caress out) Those are just basic kind of things, here my version of this for an example . http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126187
I'd replace skyguard with leonin skyhunter from mirrodin.
So i see what you are going for but I don't get why thrumming bird or plauge stinger aren't in here (especialy thrumming bird). I did an infect deck here's my spin on it: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126462
if you drop the wall and ogre tyrant they fit, it just depends how much defense versus offense you want.
I like this deck, I have a similar one. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126174 I just haven't had time to play test assault strobe + distortion strike. That mage slayer is a beast of a card.
Maybe you'll like my take on this, It has always run well for me, I haven't gotten to play test out the assault strobe distortion stike combo yet though. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126174
Overall I would say to slow, with little mid game play for being slow. More boost could be added like vampire bites or groundswell. I found infiltrations lens is the best way to get card advantage later so you could easly pop out the snake umbras for them instead. If you want to run fast infect take a look at mine below... http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126462 If you want to run mid game infect for a big rush win I'd drop in some more infect creatures instead of kill spells, then mix in your favorite version of overhelm. Maybe speed it up by using llanowar elves instead of nonbasic lands.
I see how mixing in old stuff may help in late game but poision is much more effective early while there is less control on the board. Take a look at my poison, myabe it'll give you some ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126462
Here you go, I found enough of Scars to do what I hope will work, still splashed a little outside. Let me know what you think if this helps at all. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=127508
Honestly unless their is a requirement to stay in scars you can get a lot more control if you mix in m11 and zendikar, even just m11 can give you quite an edge compared to whats hear. I'm no control expert so I don't know exactly what I'd have you put in but I'll whip something up and get back to you.
I like how you can finish but I tried to go quicker, i've noticed people accept the counters early. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=126462
Two of my favorite cards for big red finishs right now are, 1) Fling, I've won so many games with that it desrves red card of the year or something close to it. 2) Assault Strobe, if they don't have enough blockers early that can do it right there.
Definelty a good deck, I had no clue a green enchantment existed like that. I always figured you'd have to go Seedborn Muse to do something like this but that'd be to slow. Props on making a ping of doom work this well.
Cool, I went red for A) The Inquiry, B) The sheer damage/kill boost. How'd he run the blue black? Standard control or ...?
