My attempt on making an Esper Mill deck. Any advice on things I've done wrong or any criticism is welcome!Help me with my sideboard!
Obviously the point of the deck is to mill you opponent down to nothing. Second option is too (Hopefully) finally pull out Ætherling and always keep that extra mana open for blinking. Just slowly attack and control / counter.I have something in the SB for a reason, others are just thrown in there because i might us them. Pithing Needle - will keep this in SB unless there an annoying planeswalker that needs to be dealt with.Basically if I have to go against another control deck, I'll be removing [Celestial Flare] and [Supreme Verdict]. Then, replacing those with [Negate] and [Dissolve].

Take a look at my esper version in modern.I have many other mill-decks, all with deep explanations on what worked and what was removed and all that.Click my "name" to see them all. What format do you want to end up in?

Hey wickeddarkman! Thanks for the reply and I'll have to take a look at your decks. It is always fun learning new things for other people's trial and errors :) I'm trying to keep it standard. I still fairly new to magic. I guess I started somewhere between 2 - 3 months ago. Right now all I play is standard, but one day will leap into modern. It is just no one plays it around here. :-s
Playing standard? Then you should go BUW, because the mill cards in theros lets you move that direction. And when a standard set rotates out it's still modern legal, so not a bad idea. Ever since the llorwyn cycle wotc has printed some millcards in all other sets, some better than others, but in the long run it might pay of to play modern mill, not many know this, so you should pat yourself on your shoulder for taking that approach. Moderns a small format but still rising in popularity.
So in your personal opinion so you think that this setup will be good for standard or should I change some things up? This is actually changed from my older mill deck that i built about a month ago. This is it:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/my-milly/ The deck seems to work well at times, just a hit and miss if you drew the right cards, but hey any deck would work well if you always drew the right ones! It seemed when i was playing this that i needed more counter / protection from other decks. Thanks again wickeddarkman for helping with this. It is greatly appreciated!!
What I meant is:Since wotc is constantly producing millcards each cycle, you will be able to play mill in both standard and modern, and all in all spend less than most in the long run. + by focussing on mill in standard, you will know what will be valuable in modern, and few will have your level of insight. Mill is the only reoccuring theme between sets, which makes it perfect to specialize in, compared to everybody else who will be starting from scratch every rotation. No problem with the help there, but if you have a breakthrough with anything millbased let me know it as one of the first :)I've recently won 9 points with mill in a modern tourney, so I'll soon post the design...
