With Lavamancer's you may want to consider adding fetches into the deck to get lavamancer ability onboard asap and thinning would also continue to help. You have plenty of 1 drops you may want to consider thinning those just a tad maybe 2 of them a combination of lavamancers and scamps and put 2 koth in play or even the new Chandra turns into a finisher as you can use the -2 ability and copy something. I wouldn't mind seeing 2 goblin gernades also as they can do 11 damage on turn 4 with chandra on board.

This deck has a ton of card draw 11 cards + 2 Jaces and fetches.

Oblivion is used instead of Journey since we have so many 2 drops anyways including spreading seas, hawk and mana leaks.

Jace 3.0 is for the mirror match.

Elixer is used to stabalize against agro and for use against turbo fog.

I could possibly add swiftboots, but its not as needed. We are typically dropping in the big guys at the end of their turn with a summoning trap or a quicksilver drop.

Changes:
+1 Emrakul, +1 Garruk, +1 Acidic Slime
-1 Kozilek, -1 Fauna Shaman, -1 Phyrexian Metamorph

Sideboard:
-1 Elixir of Immortality, -1 Acidic Slime, -2 All is Dust
+3 Torpor Orb, +1 Creeping Corrosion

There is a question to whether or not we should try to squeeze some card draw in here either ponder, preordain or spreading seas for control. I also originally had 1 sun titan and 1 consecrated sphynx in the deck. I question if I should have removed them at all. Albeit at the time in place of mana leaks.

The deck runs the 1 and under artifact package and in my opinion most important to least are: 1) Basilisk Collar runs synergy with our mortarpods which can pop off anything, but indestructable creatures. 2) Elixir of Immortality, we have so many 1 of cards it is super important to get some of them back not to mention against an agro deck this 5 life really helps us stabalize. 3) Mox Opal, multi color manasource we don't have a way to get Tezzeret out any faster then turn 3 no matter what so getting metalcraft to do it is much les slikely then a sphere of the suns, but if its out and a sphere is also out from turn 2 you likely are making it a 5/5 creature to attack with on turn 3. 4) Sylvok Lifestaff is a great way to race your life up against agro. 5) Darksteel Axe, with Tezzeret it becomes a 5/5 indestructable house seems relevent.

The manabase has been incredible from the raw version I originally stumbled upon with 1 swamp and no tar pits or catacombs. In testing this deck waspushing RuG/Twin to the limit winning roughly 60% of the games. It also was beating Vampires at that amount before we dropped smallpox into vampires and a few other minor changes. It runs great match ups against other control decks.

I have been competing great against RDW and Kuldotha Red. And the game goes out of control in game 2 and 3 after sideboarding, nearly an auto win, just have to pilot yourself to the victories. In matches I'm undefeated against these decks with a few game losses. (roughly 10-12 games on MWS thus far)

My only concerns right now with the deck are potentially dropping 1 Ancient Stirrings and 1 Green Sun's Zenith as well as the Terastodon from the mainboard. The ideal move now is if I drop them to potentially add a few more land to make it a more traditional manabase as running 24-26 lands in Eldrazi is pretty common.

The sideboard I could add the Terastodon, while removing 1 Beast Within, 1 All is Dust, 1 Acidic Slime and 1 Phyrexian Metamorph and adding either Baloth's for life gain against agro and potentially a second Creeping Corrosion. In my area Artifact decks like Tempered Steel are very common, which makes CC extremely powerful sideboard card and also makes Beast Within a very important mainboard card. If I were playing in a meta that also ran Valakut I likely would continue to run Terastodon mainboard.

This is just built as semi-competitive deck and by no means is teir 1. The extra non-splicer rares are cards I picked up over the last few months to let my friend play with. Like the Sun Titan, Primevil Titan, Archon of Justice, Fauna Shaman, Gigantomancer and Adaptive Automaton.

Birds of Paradise and Birthing Pods are fairly inexpensive to buy on your own or trade for. The Blade Splicers are also very inexpensive.
