The overall outlook of the deck is to have a lot of cards that will regain life points, have some weak-ish creature tokens for support, a good amount of heavy hitting creature cards, plenty of "Destroy target creature" cards. The goal of the deck is to get a lot of life points built up and get on your opponents nerves while playing some good cards besides. Its a pretty well rounded deck.
Usually I play what I have when I can, but mainly its just knowing the deck well enough to know what you will draw next and really just situational judgment.
