this is my first attempt at a highlander deck (not an edh deck cuz theres no meta for it around here) (though if i were to go edh, GLISSA THE TRAITOR!!!!!) i have the general idea for the deck down relatively fast and inexpensive creatures and spells creatures that are very annoying to get rid of, lots of control cards, and lots of equipment to make my smaller creatures into bomb creatures and my already bomb creatures into nukes also i havnt really touched the lands yet so their all islands, i just wanted to draw sample hands having trouble thinning it down to 100 cards and having trouble getting a nice consistent flow in the sample hand draw right now im going to work on the land base and get back to the spells n stuff in a bit any suggestions greatly appreciaited

needs to have 100 cards, whos the commander? you cant make a deck without a base to make it on, so start with the commander, then work from there for what cards work well with it

this isnt an edh deck because nobody in my meta plays edh, its all just normal highlander, 100 card decks no duplicates and NO GENERALS, and their generally just 1 on 1 matches i do kind of wish there would be some edh around here, if that were the case id deffinately go for glissa, the traitor i only have all the islands because i havnt gotten around to putting in the actual lands but i wanted to draw some sample hands to see how well my creatures and spells curve out through turns
Wondering why you have 38 islands? You're also going to need some some later game spells, as commonly commander games I play with three to five people can last up to 3 hours, so cheap spell aren't going to cut it when you're getting one a turn and have 20 mana.
