Deck Description

This deck uses posion counters to defeat your opponent. Virulent Sliver + Hivestone gives all your creatures poisonous 1 (by the way, multiple instances of poison stack). Cover of Darkness (select creature type: Sliver) + Hivestone will give all your creatures fear. Meekstone will stop most creatures. Viridian Longbow allows direct poison counters to player.

Deck discussion for Direct Poison

Wow. This deck seems really effective at getting a lot of poison counters out really quickly. I like all of the combos this deck offers, they definitely speed things up quite considerably. I wouldnt change a thing about this deck, it seems like it works pretty well already. Comment my Forest Beatdown please!

Thanks, and good luck!

Please note I've made a change to the deck because of a grievous error. You cannot use Stuffy Doll with any poisonous ability because it must do combat damage to deal poison counters. However, Marsh Viper and Sabertooth Cobra can use Viridian Longbow to deal poison counters because they do not actually have "poisonous".

I've playtested this deck with many people, and it actually is a pretty potent killing machine. In teams matches it is particularly deadly, since it basically bypasses life gain. So far, only black or artifact based decks prove to be good counters to this deck.
