This is my version of a Gitrog deck that still allows your opponents to interact with you. I know when you sit down at a table with people you haven't played with before they already assume your going to shut them out and just play by yourself. Well I didn't want that but wanted to utilize lands in as many ways possible while still having ways to win early enough if needed.
I feel this deck is very self explanatory in that depending on your draws you will know your play. I typically try to play ramp and get The Gitrog Monster out asap. Once that has started and he wasn't countered I am normally drawing into my spot removal and ways to play multiple lands. I am normally either messing around with card draw and waiting t pull a creature or I have a creature out with landfall and can take my time swinging in. When things get hairy because your opponents will see you as the main threat at the table I have utilities like squandered resources, splendid reclamation and scapeshift to help get some crazy ramp going so you can hopefully play Avenger of Zendikar and roll that into a Craterhoof Behemoth win.
