Deck discussion for Scour your Thoughts

I see you tagged this as legacy. Remember that Tolarian acadamy is banned. Looks cool though. Maybe splash green and add exploration, maybe even high tide?

It looks like it has potential. I bet dream halls would make dropping omniscience easier. And brainstorm might be nice as opposed to ponder, considering you can play it at instant speed, or draw into extra lands each turn on your own turn.

Ill look those up. Thanks for the suggestions... but the reason I chose ponder is that it allows me to shuffle my deck. So if I don't like my next three cards I can shuffle and draw a new card. Dream Hall is an awesome card but What should I take out since it is a pretty medium cost for a legacy...?

If you can get your hands on them, fetchlands are a great shuffle. Use brainstorm, put two things back you dont want, then crack a fetchland, et a land, thin the deck, then shuffle. AS far as dream halls goes, id consider archmage ascension. It takes a long time to pop off. Try checking out some of the dream halls legacy deck primers on starcitygames or mtgsalvation. You might get some neat ideas.

Stroke of Genius, I think, would serve you better than BSZ. I just checked, and Stroke isn't banned from Legacy =)

Also "Arcanis the Omnipotent" would fit the theme of drawing, just a suggestion though =)

Stroke of Genius is a good idea. High Tide/gauntlet of power + palinchron could help too. Infinite mana!

If you want to win with this in legacy, you need something against force of will, daze, thoughtseize and inquisition of kozilek.

Adding 4 surgical extration to the sideboard might help you get closer!

On what turn do you kill on an average?

Typically a three to four turn win. Not kill. And by that I mean 3 or four of their turns. And about 6 of mine

pay heed to Wicked's advice - the legacy deck I've seen so far are stuffed with Force of Will's and other nastyness. Surgical Extraction and/or Extirpate are party ruiners - Please forgive, I'm not trying to sound like a douche, but as I've been told, Legacy is the second most "nasty" format to embarge - It would be so cool if you could kick some behind in that format.

Haha thanks man. I know what you mean. Any other cards that would help me stop a combo that are blue or can be played using colorless mana?

Perhaps try to get 4 flusterstorm. They are exceptional against storm.

My "current legacy mill" was at a large tournament this weekend!
I ranked as number 29 out of 84 players.
At my usual gamingstore I rank as the 16th at having earned most points during the month.
I'm getting closer to my goals ;)

Well, "dragon's maze" might have that 1 mill-card that will make my mill really competetive.

If they make a mill-card that both removes emrakul and mills 6 cards Ill buy it even for tons of money :D
