I have loved the idea of mill since I heard about it, and so have wanted to make a deck around it.Note: $100 BudgetReasons for cards:Sphinx's tutelage: Main mill machineMani Scribe: Extra millReckless scholar: Drawing cards to activate tutelage.Fevered Visions: Extra DrawMagmatic insight/tormenting voice: Draw two cards by discarding a card? Activates Tutelage twice, cheaply.Startled awake: A great mill card that can be used again and again and againJace, Unraveler of Secrets: +1 gives draw, and millChandra, Flamecaller: 0 ability lets you draw a lot of cardsAlhammaret's archive: double draw!

If you're looking to build a mill deck in the current standard rotation, you should take a hard look at the Investigate mechanic from SOI

ok thanks
I think Manic Scribe could potentially mill your Opponent more then Mad Prophet will more often then not. And Startled Awake will probably be better then Alchemist's Vial. I haven't play tested either of these but I feel they'd both be a better while speeding up your mill. I'm aware your going for a ton of draw to combo with Tutelage but you'd still have 22 sources of draw after cutting the Vial and the Prophet. In conclusion I like the deck and love playing mill. I run a competitive Esper build for modern. As well these are just my opinions and should be taken as such. Happy Casting.
I second your two card choices.

Maybe 1-of Avaricious Dragon? Nets you an extra card every turn, which can get insane with Tutelage.Chandra, Flamecaller would be good too as her 0 activates Tutelage multiple times.
however, since you discard, the draw cards that you have would severely underpower the dragon.
I guess, but your curve seems generally low, right? Maybe some madness cards could be in the deck, like Just the Wind, or Fiery Temper.
