Deck discussion for Torpor deck

Diabolic tutors seem a little unnecessary. Perhaps you could hang onto two and just add some burn spells or other removal.

Thanks for the advice man. Any ideas of what to add? I was thinking thunderous wrath but wasn't sure.

Force of will, or daze. Or both for some nice control. Some sac creatures for arcum. More removal or go red and go with a lot of burn.

Torpor Orb kills Arcbound creatures. I know you have them in there as food for Arcum, but if the Torpor Orb is out, they're useless.

Also, why the Shadowmage Infiltrators? Why not more "come into play/enter the battlefield" cards to abuse?

Thanks for the advice about the arcbound creatures. That's kind of a big deal x_x.

Originally i was running more come into play creatures but a lot of their effects were too risky.
Like Eater of days and leveler if they remove torpor orb i'd be in trouble.

Also i found when i play tested it i couldnt really get any craetures out until i have torpor orb or a stifle and when playing against a control based deck to be safe that could be as late as the 4th or 5th turn. So i need those creatures block also they are for arcum as you said :).

Also the Shadowmages are just there for the draw. Not sure what else I can add for that...

Good choices for the replacements. :3 Yay for guys that replace themselves! And good point about the risky come into play doods.

As for draw, you might want to look at spells with cantrips (Ex. Remand) or something else that lets you manipulate your deck (Ex. Brainstorm). Solemn Simulacrum would probably be a good fit, at least a couple.

Something to think about. :) Glad I could help!

Thanks mate you've been a real help hey :)

For the draw i decide to go with staff of nin :) it synergizes quite
well with Arcum and with the elixirs i won't run out of cards :)
