Xathrid Gorgon was the inspiration for my 'assasin'-themed deck
Use your creatures to kill and ultimately steal the creatures of your opponents. Xathrid Gorgon is amazing at preventing larger enemy creatures from attacking you while Whispersilk Cloak and Rogue's Passage allow you to bypass the Defenders.

Its a good deck, seen it do some nice stuff when playing but I would trim out the Abrupt Decay, Nettlevine, and the two giant scorps (the Sluice scorps are better anyhow with the ability to give counts to another creature after death.

Yeah, I've played against it, so I know it's pretty effective, but looking at the card list it feels like it's all over the place, and trying to do too much. The fewer things you focus on, the more consistency you'll get out of your deck. It seems like you like the concept of unblockable creatures with good "on player hit" abilities; you might consider splashing blue for Invisible Stalker (1/1, unblockable hexproof - doesn't get much better than that for "auto player hit"). I know there are other creatures with built-in Lures as well. A dead-iron sledge will kill everything you just Lured. I would add two more whispersilk cloaks, and some other equipment than the quietus spike, like some of the two-bladed swords. You might even consider an Infect creature (though that would go against focusing the deck). There's also Typhoid Rats, 1/1 deathtouch for 1 mana. Anyways, those are just some suggestions.
