Modern mono-black aggro with the use of vehicles, surprisingly cheap too! The deck is not my own personal creation, this list is one that my coworker plays often and stomped me with recently. I figured I would share the list because it's fun, cheap, and competitive! My coworker does not use a sideboard, as this is his "fun" deck, so I just picked very typical sideboard cards. Nothing too special, just specific hate cards. PS: King Macar has the best name for this deck...he is in the sideboard only for his awesome name...RIP King Macar :'(
The deck is all about smuggler's copter, the card was so good it got banned in standard! The harvester is nice too, I always underestimated it, calling it "slow", then struggled dealing with that 5 toughness lifelinking body! Cool interactions occur between the vehicles, and crewing them using pain seer and night market lookout (crewing the vehicles will allow the effects of these two creatures to trigger). While not typically a creature used in an aggressive strategy, pack rat, paired with the mutavaults (he only plays 2 because they're expensive, but I'm guessing 3 or 4 is better) can sometimes take over a game by itself. When discarding a card with pack rat or smuggler's copter, it's better to discard a creature that can recur itself if possible.I'm not sure how necessary inquisition of kozilek is in an aggro strategy, but the card has become a staple in extended formats over the years, and always proves to be among the best 1-cost cards in the modern format. ANTI-SYNERGY WARNING: While 99% of this deck is syngergizes perfectly, dread wanderer cannot crew a vehicle the same turn he recurs himself because he comes into play tapped...so for anyone who wants to use this list you've been warned!!!!
