My attempt at making a casual land destruction deck for 3-4 players.
Price of Glory pairs with Lim-Dul's Hex, Erratic Portal and Rhystic Tutor.Impending Disaster keeps lands to a minimum.Breaking Point and Browbeat take chunks of life so that Lim-Dul's Hex can finish the job.I'd really like for this deck to be able to win at least sometimes. Unfortunately, my strategy is revealed as soon as I play a diamond and something that destroys land. This immediately paints a target on me and all opponents want to get rid of "that annoying deck". I'm finding it difficult to consistently balance land destruction with board wipes/removal. Any suggestions will be considered and appreciated though keep in mind I don't have and can't afford expensive cards like Damnation.

So what problems are you having with the deck and what constraints are you working with (budget, pre-Modern, theme)? If you want to blow up all the lands and still win with damage, you could use Obliterate, Jokulhaups or even (maybe) Apocalypse followed by something like Nether Shadow or Ashen Ghoul. Your Pox deck had problems with creature swarms, right? Pyroclasm is good for a start, but you might want something like Pestilence or even Braids, Cabal Minion- she's a house in this kind of deck; I had a friend who ran her with Smoldering Tar back in the day and that was painful to play against.

Budget is always a constraint for me. I try not to spend more than $2 on a card. I'd also like to keep all the cards pre-modern just for aesthetics.I've changed this deck up so much that I'm not sure what the current problem is anymore. In the past the problem was dealing enough damage to win, but I'm trying to fix that with a Dingus Egg/Impending Disaster combo (which might not work). I figure I can use low mana cost cards and things that let me sacrifice lands along with Charcoal Diamond and Fire Diamond.I don't think I'd ever have enough mana for Obliterate or Jokulhaups. Apocalypse is awesome, but I'd probably have to reconsider the mechanics of the deck to make that fit. The combo with Ashen Ghoul and Nether Shadow is neat though. Pestilence might be good and Braids would definitely be good. I only hesitated putting her in because I use her in a rat deck already. Smoldering Tar was in this before I decided to make it a multiplayer deck. Good in 2 player, but pretty weak for the cmc in multiplayer.
A good friend of mine had a killer sliver deck back in the day and he had a hard time in multiplayer too: everyone would gang up on him before he could get too many slivers out. It was sort of a compliment because we were all terrified of the deck but at the same time it sucked for him. Here are a few vintage cards I found which might help protect you (I think) but they all have problems: 1) Peacekeeper - Creature — Human 1/1, 2W (3) At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice Peacekeeper unless you pay {1}{W}. Creatures can't attack.Problem is that it's white. 2) Propoganda - Enchantment, 2U (3) Creatures can't attack you unless their controller pays {2} for each creature he or she controls that's attacking you.But it's blue. 3) Koskun Falls - World Enchantment, 2BB (4) At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice Koskun Falls unless you tap an untapped creature you control. Creatures can't attack you unless their controller pays {2} for each creature he or she controls that's attacking you.The right color at least but you have no creatures.... 4) Caltrops - Artifact, 3 (3) Whenever a creature attacks, Caltrops deals 1 damage to it.I'm not sure it will be enough of a deterrent, but they do stack so that's something.
Thanks for the comment and suggestions. I've been thinking of switching black cards out for blue or white. White has more affordable defense and board wipes. Blue has Rishadan Footpad, Cutpurse, and Brigand, which would combo with Price of Glory better.
