I've always liked the madness mechanic. I'm sad you don't have my favorite madness card Gibbering Descent in here, but I suppose it is a rare. Rummaging Goblin would be a good fit.

I didn't even know Fluctuator existed. Neat card and this looks like a fun deck to play.
No problem, I've been that guy...
Oh yeah, Sunbeam. Land Tax is a great card and since you only have 20 lands I'm sure it would prove beneficial. It's really expensive (by my standards) though.
I think it could use more life gain. Maybe Lifespark Spellbomb instead of Feed the Clan. Then you could at least use a Ritual of Restoration to play it again if you needed more life and you'd also have the option to sac it and draw if you didn't need life. I also use a Voltaic Key in my Chalice deck, which is fun, but it may not fit well here.
When I've played this in a four player game I usually barely have enough stuff to remove cards from graveyards to avoid being attacked. Propaganda would be a good if I can't get Web of Inertia out, but that usually isn't a problem.I thought Sleeper Agent was perfect for the deck :( It deals two damage and then the opponent who controls it has to attack and could potentially deal three damage to another opponent. Also at the end of the game when I have only one opponent left and they can't attack me it deals two damage to them every turn.Blood Artist would be cool in a lot of my decks, but I don't spend that much on cards and like you mentioned, pre-modern.
No good reason. I guess I just like the aesthetic of having all older cards.
Maddening Imp does the same thing as Siren's Call. I have Siren's Call just in case I can't get a Maddening Imp or if he gets destroyed. Without that combo with Web of Inertia the deck doesn't work.I'd definitely put Bojuka Bog in if it was pre modern.
If I could get out 2 or 3 Charcoal Diamonds in a game they would be very beneficial, but that won't usually happen because like you mentioned I don't have a way to draw cards. I put Drain Life in here because it can be used against a creature or player. You're probably right about Soul Feast, Dingus Egg and Ankh of Mishra. I'd love to see your version if you ever feel like creating it. I was going to put Ankh in here actually, but I already have a creatureless deck that uses it and didn't want this deck to be too similar to that one.I might reconsider some of your suggestions in the future, but I'm going to get a few of the cards I'm missing in this version (Innocent Blood, Spoils of Evil and Dingus Staff) and see how it plays. I played it with 3 friends the other night without those cards and the game was really close, so I think I'll be happy with it. Thanks for all your help bananamancer!
Budget is always a constraint for me. I try not to spend more than $2 on a card. I'd also like to keep all the cards pre-modern just for aesthetics.I've changed this deck up so much that I'm not sure what the current problem is anymore. In the past the problem was dealing enough damage to win, but I'm trying to fix that with a Dingus Egg/Impending Disaster combo (which might not work). I figure I can use low mana cost cards and things that let me sacrifice lands along with Charcoal Diamond and Fire Diamond.I don't think I'd ever have enough mana for Obliterate or Jokulhaups. Apocalypse is awesome, but I'd probably have to reconsider the mechanics of the deck to make that fit. The combo with Ashen Ghoul and Nether Shadow is neat though. Pestilence might be good and Braids would definitely be good. I only hesitated putting her in because I use her in a rat deck already. Smoldering Tar was in this before I decided to make it a multiplayer deck. Good in 2 player, but pretty weak for the cmc in multiplayer.
I've been working on a red/black multiplayer land destruction deck and tried using some of the cards you have here (Flailing Soldier, Veteran Brawlers), but I'm not having much luck. Maybe you'd have some suggestions...
Having a large storage of mana is really useful with Drain Life. Lotus Blossom is the best fit for the deck because of that reason. Black Mana Battery would be good early game until I play Desolation, but after it's on the field I would only pay 2 mana to add a counter if I'm already casting a spell and have to sacrifice a land anyway. Generally I don't have that much mana to spare. When I had Charcoal Diamond in the deck it seemed I would only play it early in the game. Since it only produces 1 mana (which all of my spells cost more than) I always have to sacrifice a land because of Desolation anyway.
I've never heard of this "tiny leaders", but it seems neat. Love the land destruction theme here.
Yeah, Dingus Egg would probably hurt opponents more, but it seems when I play this I get attacked by little creatures or burned. The few life gain cards I have barely keep me on top. I know I could just sac Cackling Fiend, but then I'm paying 4 precious mana for opponents to choose and discard 1 card and if Desolation is on the field I'd have to sac a land too. Spoils of Evil is tempting. I had considered it when first starting to build this deck. I'll have to try it out.Charcoal Diamond was in the deck, but I pulled it and Lim-Dul's Hex at the same time because almost nothing costs 1 mana.Black Mana Battery was another consideration some time ago, but after Desolation is in play it becomes almost worthless.
Those are all really good suggestions. Dingus Egg would hurt me as much as my opponents unfortunately. Dingus Staff needs to fit in here somewhere for sure. Unnerve is also a good fit. Cackling Fiend could be good early in the game, but wouldn't be great after Tainted Æther is on the field. I'll do a bit of fiddling. Thanks bananamancer.
Nice. Tap that.
You should probably have around 24 lands and if you have any cards that let you draw cards add those.
Zedruu is one of my favorite cards and you've built a very nice EDH deck around her. I especially enjoy Grid Monitor and Steel Golem. Maybe add a Reshape.
Melira + Murderous Redcap + Viscera Seer = cheap infinite combo
I like your style. The politics of a group game is half the fun.
