The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
+ Cards from the new set Shadow over Innistrad.4x Thing in the Ice4x Abberant Researcher
Control the field by sending the opponents creatures back to the top of its owners deck, making the opponent re-draw it next turn = top decking.meanwhile you control the field with your instants and sorceries, the counters on your Thing in the Ice disappears and and you get strong creatures to hit with.Abberant Researcher mills your top card each turn and with the amount of inst/sorc in the deck it will transform quickly and thereafter hit hard as well. Some of the cards milled or played can be returned to your hand with Halimar Tidecaller if they have awaken. Instants and sorceries that do not have awaken can be played with jace.

So, slightly mill yourself, trigger jace, repeat the awaken spell with tidecaller, and attack with waterviel'ed lands and thing in ice for lethal?

shadows over innastrad
It's updated now!
were is thing in the ice
Inside the deck :) it had to be written in the info box before because I made the deck before the cards were released.
Huh. Cool deck, but the mana base seems a bit off-too many plains. And why prairie stream instead of something like Port Town?
***a budgeted standard deck, if thats possible revolving around the thing in the ice.....: http://www.mtgvault.com/wowwow27/decks/landho-have-a-cigar/ .............also the bigger cards may hold modern value. thank me later-
MooseMan, I guess your right, I changed decreased/increased by 2 for basic lands, though more than that would be wrong I think since it's a two-mana deck there are usually not a problem with what kind of mana you have. Port town seems to be a better option indeed, stronger early game than Praire though a little slower late game (if you don't have more lands in hand), though at late game you probably have all the lands you want either way and you might just end up scrying away the lands xD.
I would of thought that there isnt a high enough percentage chance of drawing enough instant/sorcery to transform TITI sucessfully, i think more often than not he will just be a 0/4 blocker in this build, i know there will be times when you will flip him and things will turn out but it seems like theres not a high enough percentage of T2 TITI, and then having him transformed, and winning with so few instants/sorceries.
Don't understate jace, if he gets him at any point, thing will be flipped in no time.
I agree with ArtOfCOD. there needs to be more Instants/Sorceries.
There is 16 instants/sorceries and 4 Halimar Tidecaller wich will bring back 4 inst/sorc so you really think that 20 instants and sorceries (not including what Jace can recast) is not enough?
I ran a deck with 20 instants/sorc and 4 halimar, and it wasn't reliable enough, thing in the ice, pretty much gets removed as he hits the board at my lgs. everyone seems to be running lots of removal specifically for titi. He is much more reliable in modern however
Ah ok. I guess with a lack of a gods willing type effect you have to run hard control? So wrath effects with ojutai's command, sorin, jace, ruinous path, dispel, Negate, scatter, anticipate, wandering fumearol?
also artofcod, ojutai's command words really really well with thing in the ice, did you have it as a 4 of in your build?
it is a nice deck overall i like the concept
I love the deck, but would make the following changes: I would cut the Noyan and 1 Aberrant Researcher and add in 2 Eldrazi Displacer. Displacer will allow you to create numerous loops of flickering your own Tidecaller to get back spells to bounce their creatures. I would also cut 2 Sandstone Bridge, 2 Island, and 3 Plains to replace them with 3 Prairie Stream, 2 Wastes, and 2 Evolving Wilds.
That suggestion seems good to me :D
I am curious on whether you find 16 instant/sorcery enough. I have a deck which runs TITI with 21 instant/sorcery and he does not flip very regularly. However, flipping him is not the primary purpose of the deck I have him in. It is just extra when it happens.
